HOLA-GADDE : It’s a land for wet as well as dry cultivation. HALI : It’s just a plot of field. KAMBALA-GADDE : It’s a field in which buffalo race takes place. MAJALU : It’s a field in which a single crop of rice can be raised. The land is higher than Bayalu but lower than Bettu. MAKKI: Worst kind of land yielding one crop. BIDIVADIYA, HUNISE-ADIYE, TENGIN-ADIYA, HOYIMANNA-MAKKI: They are the makki lands on which bamboo, tamarind, coconut and makki covered with sandy soil are grown . |
